Kansas State Assessment Awards

Sublette schools performed well on the 2008-2009 Kansas State Assessments.  Sublette Middle school met Adequate Yearly Progress in reading, math, science and writing.  In addition they earned Standard of Excellence in Reading at the 7th and 8th grade level which earned them a Standard of Excellence Building Wide.

Sublette High school also met Adequate Yearly Progress in Reading, Math, Science and Writing.  Standard of Excellence was earned in the subject areas of Math and Reading for the 2008-2009 Kansas State Assessments.

Sublette was also recognized by the Confidence in Kansas Public Education Task force for their performance on the 8th grade Reading assessment and the 11th grade Reading assessment.  Over sixty plus schools were selected, elementary through secondary.  These schools were selected by their outstanding achievement on the Kansas assessments, the socioeconomic backgrounds of students, must have 40% or more of free and/or reduced lunches, the sample size must be at least 20 students and only one school per region earned the award.  Congratulations students and teachers!
