The District has a new communication tool that I’m excited to let the students, parents, and the community at large know about; it is called “Textcaster.” This is a service, paid for by Centera Bank, which will allow us to communicate pertinent school information, by sending text and/or E-mails messages to people who sign up. The service will allow us to get important school district messages out quickly. For example, on days we do not have school, for inclement weather or any other reason, you will get a text message and/or E-mail message in less than a minute after a school closing decision has been made.
Click on the Textcaster button, on the right side of the page, to sign up. It is an easy signup procedure that only takes a few minutes, and if you want E-mail messages, please include your E-mail address. Click one or all of the "Message Group" choices currently available: High School, Middle School, Elementary School, and/or Transportation.
Call the district office at 675-2277, if you need further instructions. Have a great week.
